Why Textivo shows ads
Textivo tools are free to use with no signup. Light advertising helps keep word counters, formatters, converters, and other utilities online for everyone.
What the temporary ad break is
When a redirect ad (popunder / new-tab style) opens, Textivo may start a short countdown within about 1–2 seconds. That countdown is a temporary break — not a permanent ad-free account.
During the timer, ads should not appear — including redirect ads and page banners — until the countdown ends (about two minutes when it activates).
When the timer starts (and when it does not)
- Starts after a real redirect ad — typically within 1–2 seconds of that redirect, not just because the page loaded.
- During the countdown: redirect ads and banner ads are paused.
- Does not start from a quick tab switch alone, or if ads never loaded (for example with an ad blocker).
- If nothing redirects, you should not expect a timer.
After the timer ends
- Banners and redirect ads can return so the site stays free.
- Fullscreen tool mode hides page chrome and side banners so you can focus on the tool itself. That is a focus mode, not “ads forever off.”
Important: this is not permanent, and it is not a forever “fixed” promise
Please read this carefully:
- The timer is temporary and only lasts a short time when it activates.
- It is not guaranteed every visit, every device, or every session.
- It may not start if ads are blocked, networks fail, or conditions are not met.
- We do not promise that this timer will always work the same way forever, or that it will be permanently “fixed” as a product feature. Ad partners, browsers, and site needs can change at any time.
How to help the experience
- Allow ads for textivo.online (or turn off the ad blocker for this site).
- Use the tools normally after ads can load.
- If a redirect ad opens, a short countdown may start in about 1–2 seconds — during that time, more redirect ads should not appear.
Privacy stays the same
Tool processing still runs in your browser. Your text is not uploaded for formatting or cleanup just because ads are present.
